Jason Champion is a full service designer, stylist, television personality, and writer with 15 years of experience in the design field. Born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in the south, his personal aesthetic is rooted in outdoor living, and he has made the most of his impeccable taste by incorporating fashion into his functional outdoor furniture and styling designs. After obtaining a degree in Applied Arts from the Southern Institute Division of Virginia College, Jason worked with design powerhouses like Stark Carpet and JANUS et Cie until striking out on his own with Great Spaces, Inc. and Jason Champion OUTDOOR. Always determined to infuse his designs with the same elegance, innovative funkiness, and youthful charm that characterize his personality, Jason has created a body of work that is truly unforgettable.
Jason has accrued several awards and accolades for his expertise, including (but certainly not limited to) DIFFA’s “Best in Show” and the ADAC Design excellence award for “Best Interpretation of Theme”. He has also been recognized in prestigious publications that include The New York Times, Washington Post, Elle Décor, and House Beautiful. In July Jason will be showcasing his talent on television as a contestant on HGTV’s popular series Design Star.
